so, my little princess is a wonderful baby...she sleeps well, feeding well and everything goes fairly well....but, mind you, she' s the queen of the night!...she sleeps mostly during the day and at night she starts disturbing mama n papa while we're trying to get some sleep...!!  anyway, for u, my little princess...wateva happen, we'll do it for u...love u always mama n papa....

my little princess..day 1 of life...

we were wheeled out of the labour room at 1.15 am to our room at wad Baldu room 9 UKM Specialist Centre (UKMSC)...the room was comfortable with nice toilet and ASTRO!!! so boleh laa tengok konsert AF kalau tak discharge lagi esok..mak and abah stayed for a few minutes before went home..my little princess was taken to the nursery and she spent the whole night there...
so, i had a good night sleep...i got to see my little princess at about 8.45 am after her bath and she was beautifully asleep...
mak tam, kak ana and kids came to visit...maryam and bushra also came...and my sister in law, asilah also came to see her niece...
Prof Jamil came at 3 pm to see me...as both of us had no problems, so he discharged us...YAHOOOO!!! can watch Konsert AF comfortably at home...! 
so, we were discharged home at 6pm only after spending 17 hours in the ward... TQ Prof Jamil and UKMSC for a first-class service!...it's a wonderful place to be when you are in a real pain....

i think the time has come...! i realized i had show at 11.00pm on 23/6/05. that evening, me, asrul and zizie went to bangi (dahlia's house) nak uruskan bendaalah SPA tu. late that evening, sempat lg buat apple crumble cake sbb teringin sgt. anyway, mild contraction started at about 1 am(23/6/05).so, lps subuh tu pi la hukm ...had ctg done ( which was reactive), and VE (vaginal examination)....sakit gilllerrrr buat VE and i was so frustrated to find out that i was only 1 cm dilated....DR suruh balik dulu and wait for the contraction to get stronger.
sampai rumah, the contraction seized, mak kata false alarm, but the bloody show was heavier...! the contraction started back at 3 pm after eating nasi baryani and was getting regular n stronger since then (2:10). at 6 pm mmg dah tak tahan sakit sgt...so pegi balik HUKM...had CTG done....and VE..wah!! at 7 pm already 3 cm and DR said, "let's make u a mommy tonight.." and he did stretch and swipe (S&S) to make it bigger....! it was damn painful and i stopped him as he wanted to make it till 5 cm...!so dilated to 4 cm (save 1 hour!). he called Prof Jamil for his consent to do ARM (artificial rupture of membrane - break the waterbag) and sent me to the labour room at 8pm.
at the labour room...the birthing suite was nice (room no 4), the nurses were very kind...Prof Jamil came at 8.20pm, repeat the VE (still 4 cm) and ordered pitocin after epidural is done...and i waited for the anaesthetist to come for the epidural...in the mean time, the nurse offered me Enthonox (gas for pain relief) but it didn't work that well..(asrul's hand was full with nail marks!!)  At last Dr Omar (the anaesthetist) came at 9.20 pm, set the epidural catheter in and VOILA!! the contraction pain was gone....! so, i managed to get some sleep from 9.45pm till 10.30pm while Asrul ate his dinner outside the labour room with mak n abah..epidural is really a wonder...a real gift to women in labour!!i really love it!!!
i realized that my uterus was hyperstimulating at 10.30 pm and some sort of pain can be felt at the anus, vagina..the sacroiliac joint was tearing up and the lumbosacral region was pulled apart...!!! felt like pushing already but it was too early!!! 
the nurse came by at 11.00 pm and i told her that i was hyperstimulating..she did the VE and to my surprise she told me that i was already fully!!..she asked me to slowly bear down so that the head will come down just in time for Prof Jamil to arrive to conduct the delivery...
11.20, Prof Jamil arrived...he was also surprised with my excellent progress...he thought that i will only deliver after 2 am...anyway, i started pushing at 11.20pm....after putting all the efforts and hardwork, my baby girl is finally delivered at 11.44 pm.....!!! aLHAMDULILLAH...the epidural was a miracle..i did not even realize that i had an episiotomy! and stitching was fine...no pain felt! the first thing that was so obvious about her was her glowing big pair of eyes...!! she weighed 3.18 kg, with the length of 53 cm and head circumference of 34 cm...APGAR score was 9 at 1st minutes and 10 at 5 minutes....she was a wonderful and great, healthy, cute-looking baby...
i'm a mommy now...!!! forgot all about the pain coz i have a lovely princess that enlightened our lives now...

housewarming party!

at last, our condo at bdr sri permaisuri is ready to accept guests..(well, at least 70% ready)....so, in conjuction with families from batu pahat dtg KL during school holidays, we had a housewarming party and officially tido kat rumah baru for the first time....mlm tuh dpt laa tgk KOnsert Akademi Fantasia dgn tv and astro set yg baru semua org ada..mak tam, paktam, kak ana n family, abg nor n family, auntie wat n family, auntie nah n family, auntie timah n pak long...mlm tuh lps maghrib, the kids turun swimming kat bwh...so, Angah...u missed it this time, nnt ko balik in november tlg Along decorate rumah n the baby's room ek....

happy 20th birthday, angah! pity u weren't with us...kalau tak bleh celebrate sama kat crown princess nih...we had quite a feast and i'm sure u missed all sorts of halal food here....!  anyway, mak promised to bring u to some other posh place like this when u come back in november...we stayed there a night, next morning we walked all the way to KLCC!!!pancit rasenye...felt like the baby's head really descent into the pelvic nicely....  bought some baju for baby...then went back naik LRT.....

utk meraikan doktor2 muda....at hyatt regency kuantan...officially, it was our last day together before we depart to proceed with our own path as houseman....tq frens and teachers...nice knowing you all...(i really look fat !!!!)
