after a hectic day cooking and entertaining guests, we went out for lunch @ alamanda....  stopped by @ fitness concept and look at what Jihan did

makngah invited her friends over for a party...so again, we had another feast with yummylicious food served on the table  ....this time, everything is homemade!!

Nasi Arab with Moroccan lamb and beef

my dear friend, alice came to visit us this weekend at bukit mahkota.... so we had a very nice lunch with her
tuna casserole
roti jala and chicken curry
oreo muffin
cinnamon rolls (3 flavors- chocolate chisp, banana, raisins)
all truly homemade...
and that night, i baked some chocolate walnut cupcakes using the leftover chocolate ganache...

our open house
|
|
we held our open house in conjunction with the hari raya in Bkt Mahkota ...wan ordered laksa Johor and chicken soto and satay (yum..yum..) and we cooked ourselves meehoon Singapore and my signature nasi Arab with Moroccan beef...(it was a hit, i had to cook another kg of rice in the middle of the event!)  ..i also baked some cupcakes and fruit tartlets and wan made some dadih and jelly for desserts...
it went well and a lot of friends and our relatives came ....Jihan was so excited playing with the kids and babies but she fell asleep in the afternoon and missed some of the excitement... but when she woke up, she continued her active and naughty behaviour and was enjoying herself eating the laksa Johor...

went back to Sg Petani (kampung papa) and spend our hari raya there.... went to Penang, we were served with delicious nasi kandar, sate and mee kuah....(oooopss, papa...beware of what you eat...! )
got to see the new addition to the family, Jihan's cousin - baby Shafiq Aiman...
went to visit wanie and baby ariff fatihin...

Raya gathering....

it's time for another family gathering... in conjunction with Hari Raya, we met again and jalan2 raya and ate scrumptious and delicious food....
first all of us went to Pak Uda's house and ate assam laksa and chicken rice  then all of them came to our house in Bukit Mahkota and we served them nasi arab with moroccan beef and mee hoon singapore...
